We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to work closely with developers and QA teams, capturing requirements, refining user stories and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions. You will be responsible for hands‑on story writing, grooming and verification, as well as supporting user acceptance testing and feature documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative tools that solve complex investment and portfolio management challenges.
This role is based in Málaga, offering a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week) and the chance to be part of a growing local tech community.
Responsibilities
* Capture and document detailed requirements and user stories for technology solutions supporting client service teams
* Write and refine stories and specifications to ensure clarity and completeness
* Groom stories with developers to align on scope and technical approach
* Answer developer and QA questions during sprints to facilitate smooth delivery
* Verify completed stories to ensure they meet acceptance criteria
* Run user acceptance testing sessions with business users
* Write feature documentation and perform feature testing
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
* Support continuous improvement of processes and tools for client service technology
* Contribute to a culture of openness, transparency and inclusion
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field or equivalent experience
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a technology‑driven environment
* Strong skills in writing user stories, specifications and feature documentation
* Experience working with developers and QA teams in an agile environment
* Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced setting
Nice to have
* Knowledge of capital markets or investment management
* Experience with data pipelining, portfolio logic or data visualization tools
* Familiarity with user acceptance testing and agile methodologies
