Role Summary:
As the Regional Key Account Director, you will serve as the senior commercial lead and strategic partner for our most critical beauty brand accounts (including prestige, masstige, and fast-growing indie brands). You will be responsible for driving business growth, developing long-range joint business plans, and managing regional pricing, contract negotiations, and P&L outcomes. You will act as the key bridge between local brand requirements and our highly responsive, back-end engineering teams in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute regional account strategies to hit and exceed yearly revenue and profitability goals. Identify and close high-value business opportunities within the skincare, makeup, and fragrance sectors.
* Relationship Management: Serve as the senior point of contact for key retail and brand stakeholders, presenting tailored packaging innovations and custom tool proposals with financial and technical rigor.
* Commercial & Margin Strategy: Own and execute joint business plans, master service agreements (MSAs), and pricing/discount matrices, ensuring strong gross-to-net margin protection and working capital optimization.
* Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Partner closely with internal project development, design, and manufacturing teams in China to ensure custom molds and bespoke packages are delivered on time and to exact specifications.
* Trend & Competitor Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, particularly the market demand for sustainable and PPWR-compliant packaging architectures, to position our agile manufacturing capabilities as a strategic asset.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: 7–10+ years of progressive commercial experience in the cosmetics, beauty, or personal care packaging industry, managing strategic national or global accounts. Proven track record at leading packaging firms (e.g., Albéa, Aptar, Berlin Packaging, Quadpack, Lumson, Baralan) is highly preferred.
* Network: An established, active network of procurement, product development, and marketing decision-makers within prestige global beauty houses or leading indie brands.
* Business Acumen: Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, pricing analysis, and margin optimization.
* Soft Skills: Entrepreneurial mindset, executive-level negotiation skills, resilience, and the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrixed global environment.
* Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or packaging-related credentials preferred.
