We're seeking an Operations Manager reporting to the Production Director in the Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production activities, ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, service level, productivity, and cost objectives.
Responsibilities
As our Operations Manager, you will manage all daily activities at the productive filling plant. This role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact in the highest cosmetic factory in Europe.
* Guarantee the production plan while adhering to safety, quality, service, and cost standards
* Solve daily issues and lead teams
* Implement systems, standardize production processes, and promote continuous improvement
* Develop and motivate middle managers
* Participate in investigations related to incidents or accidents at the plant
* Lead investigations into quality nonconformities across different lines
* Manage planned breakdowns and stops to ensure adherence to the production schedule
* Report KPIs and monitor production efficiency
* Ensure compliance with GMP standards
* Propose and implement continuous improvement actions
* Lead and motivate Production Managers, Process Engineers, Shift Leaders, and Maintenance teams
* Contribute to business needs at Granollers
* Develop systems to increase facility capacity, improve OEE, enhance flexibility, and implement visual management
* Enhance team capabilities in fragrances: develop AM, PM, Settings cards, C/O, Standardization, Visual management, DMS, and problem-solving
Candidate Profile
You enjoy leading and motivating teams. As an experienced Operations Manager, you are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, international environment.
Qualifications
* A degree in engineering or a similar technical field
* At least 4 years of experience managing production processes in manufacturing
* A problem-solving mindset
* Methodical and analytical thinking with perseverance to lead cross-functional teams in changing environments
* Proficiency in English at a near-native level
