Ventós Brazil, Ventós China, Ventós Colombia, Ventós Grasse, Ventós Mexico, Ventós Singapore, Ventós USA and Ventós Indonesia. Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.
Responsibilities:
* Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals
* Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars
* Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)
* Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments
* Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography
* Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance
* Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department
Profile:

* Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
* Desirable:
Master’s degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
* Expertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong asset
* Familiarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valued
* Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry
* Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development
* High level of English is a must
* Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently
* Team spirit, flexibility and proactive attitude
