Area Sales Manager
Missions
Reporting to the Regional Management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Northern Spain and Portugal through the development and management of a distributor network.
The role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales in a highly competitive industrial environment.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Developing and managing a network of distributors and channel partners
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
* Promoting and selling technical solutions in compressed air systems
* Delivering technical presentations and conducting air audits for customers
* Supporting partners to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfaction
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
* Achieving sales targets while ensuring profitability
Profile
Education & Experience
* Engineering degree or technical background (sales/business education is a plus)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales
* Proven experience in developing and managing distributor networks (indirect sales)
* Experience in compressors or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong technical understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applications
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Autonomous, results-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based role
* Ability to engage both technical xbhjioe and commercial stakeholders
Languages
* Spanish: Native level
* English: Good level required
* Portuguese: A plus
Additional Information
* Location: Northern Spain (with coverage of Portugal)
* Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territory
