Job Description:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Business Development Manager in Nucleic Acid Therapeutics, where you will impact global health by supporting the development and manufacturing of nucleic acid therapies. This role involves strategic leadership, customer relationship management, and cross-functional team collaboration to drive sales and expand our market presence in Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead strategic initiatives for the nucleic acid therapeutic business unit.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with therapeutic customers.
* Establish and maintain strong customer relationships across R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory functions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate and close complex deals and partnerships.
* Manage contracts, ensure compliance with licenses and intellectual property rights.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
* Lead and develop team members aligned with company values.
* Travel approximately 50% regionally and globally.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business; advanced degree/MBA preferred.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including sales, contract negotiation, and strategic development.
* Strong understanding of nucleic acid therapeutics and pharmaceutical development workflows.
* Proven skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and pipeline management.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
