About the Client
Our client is a fully remote SaaS company focused on enabling online anonymity and secure, fast, and private access to public web data. Operating since 2008 and serving thousands of global users, the company is scaling rapidly and seeking a General Manager to support the next phase of growth.
Role Overview
The General Manager will own operational excellence, revenue growth, and cross‑functional performance across the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and includes:
* Full P&L accountability
* Cross‑functional team leadership (20+ people)
* Scaling systems, processes, and operational frameworks
* Driving SaaS growth, customer acquisition, and revenue performance
* Acting as the CEO’s operational partner and successor‑track leader
This position will manage team leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, and IT Operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy
* Diagnose operational bottlenecks and growth barriers
* Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and accelerate scale
* Translate company vision into actionable execution plans
2. P&L Ownership
* Assume full P&L responsibility within the first 3–6 months
* Manage financial performance and profitability targets
* Lead a distributed international team of 20+
* Build scalable team structures, workflows, and operational discipline
* Improve cross‑functional alignment and leadership cadence
4. SaaS Operations
* Oversee subscription revenue operations and customer lifecycle metrics
* Improve MRR, CAC, LTV, Churn, and overall unit economics
* Optimize onboarding, retention, and customer success processes
5. Culture & KPI Framework
* Protect and strengthen a people‑centered remote culture
* Implement KPIs, OKRs, dashboards, and reporting systems
* Ensure transparency and accountability across the company

Career & Experience Requirements
* Experience scaling a SaaS company under 50 employees
* Leadership experience with ARR $2M–$10M
* 4+ years in B2B SaaS in leadership roles (Ops, Product, Tech, GM, COO)
* 4+ years of P&L ownership
* Strong foundation in sales, marketing, and GTM execution
* Hands‑on operational leadership in remote/multicultural teams
* Familiarity with SaaS subscription funnels and key metrics
* Experience working closely with founders / second‑in‑command roles
* Experience leading teams in Eastern Europe/Balkans — a plus
