Role Overview
The Remarketing / Used Cars Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the used car (UC) and remarketing strategy in Spain. This role is critical to ensure strong residual values, optimize vehicle lifecycle management, and support the dealer network in maximizing used car performance and profitability.
The position requires close collaboration with sales, network development, finance, and marketing teams, as well as direct interaction with dealers and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the national remarketing and used cars strategy aligned with brand positioning and sales objectives
* Monitor and manage residual values to ensure competitiveness and long-term brand strength
* Develop and optimize used car programs (buy-back, trade-in, certified pre-owned, etc.)
* Support and challenge the dealer network to improve UC performance, stock rotation, and profitability
* Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks to adjust strategy accordingly
* Manage relationships with leasing companies, rental firms, auctions, and digital remarketing platforms
* Ensure effective stock management, including aging policies and channel optimization
* Collaborate with finance teams on RV setting and risk management
* Develop reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance and identify opportunities
* Lead digitalization initiatives in the used car ecosystem (online platforms, lead generation, pricing tools)
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Automotive Management, or related field
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive remarketing, used cars, or sales planning
* Strong understanding of residual values, leasing business, and vehicle lifecycle management
* Proven experience working with dealer networks
* Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation skills
* High level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory)
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
