The Systems Trainee will support the Systems Engineering team in the development and validation of battery systems, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to BOLD’s purpose of building innovative, safe and high-performance battery solutions.

Taking projects from initial concepts to production: we are designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing the next generation of high-performance batteries to innovative projects for multiple industries. We aim to generate a real impact on the future of electric mobility.
What You Will Do
- Support in Requirement Management
- Help document and structure system requirements.
- Assist in maintaining traceability and version control.
- Learn tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
- Support team in preparing requirement-related presentations or documentation.
- Technical Documentation & Modelling
- Create and maintain system architecture diagrams under supervision.
- Learn to use simulation tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink).
- Participate in data gathering and analysis.
- Support preparation of reports, dashboards and compliance files.
- Testing & Validation Participation
- Assist in preparing testing setups and instrumentation.
- Observe and support validation tests at lab or customer sites.
- Help collect and organise test data.
- Contribute to test reports and summaries.
- Learning and Development
- Participate in technical trainings and onboarding sessions.
- Shadow senior engineers during cross-functional reviews.
- Collaborate in internal improvement initiatives.
- Develop knowledge of automotive/mobility standards.

Minimum qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the final year of BSc or MSc in Engineering
- Basic knowledge of battery systems, systems engineering or testing
Desirable Skills And Additional Experience
- 1 year of experience in a similar role in Formula Student
- Fluent in English
