Position Summary

You will lead site engagement activities across Spain and Portugal to build strong, trusted partnerships with clinical sites. You will work with cross‑functional teams to improve site performance, speed study start‑up, and support high‑quality trial delivery. Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical sites, investigators and cross‑functional teams in Spain and Portugal
* Drive improvements in site activation, regulatory readiness, budgets and contracts to shorten timelines.
* Work with cross‑functional partners to identify site‑level risks and implement practical mitigation plans.
* Design and deliver site engagement plans, training and coaching that improve site performance and quality.
* Monitor site performance using clear metrics and run regular reviews to share learning and drive improvement.
* Support adoption of digital tools and operational solutions that simplify site workflows and enhance patient experience.
Basic Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, medicine, clinical research or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical research operations, site management or site engagement.
* Proven experience building productive relationships with investigators, site staff or hospital leadership.
* Practical knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and local regulatory requirements in Spain and Portugal.
* Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills in Spanish and business‑level English.
* Able to travel within Spain and Portugal and work with cross‑functional, matrix teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in a scientific or clinical discipline (MSc, PharmD, MD or equivalent).
* Experience developing site networks or strategic partnerships across academic and community sites.
* Track record implementing process improvements or simplifying site start‑up activities.
* Familiarity with digital or decentralized trial tools and electronic site systems.
* Experience working with vendors or outsourced site support models.
* Comfortable presenting performance insights and leading cross‑functional site improvement initiatives.
Working model

This hybrid role requires significant field‑based work (over 50%), including on‑site engagement with clinical sites and external stakeholders, and regular travel across Spain and Portugal.
