These include performance management, misconduct, employment terminations, investigations, policy interpretation, best practices, and personal issues affecting employees in the workplace.
Your roleAs a Labor Relations Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
Consulting with managers and employees on a broad range of moderately to highly complex employee relations issues.
Ensuring resolution of alleged violations of company policies by researching, conducting fact-finding interviews, analyzing facts, documenting, and consulting with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), business leaders, and Practice Leads.
Providing legal advice to employers on various international labor laws and regulations, including labor rights, wage laws, and working conditions.
Assisting with organizational change logistics and notifications to employees.
Identifying and analyzing organizational trends to develop effective solutions.
Contributing to the development of procedures and best practices in Employee Relations.
Representing the organization at legal and administrative proceedings, investigating, and preparing responses to employee and attorney demands in collaboration with Practice Leads.
Conducting research and partnering with legal counsel and Centers of Expertise on Employee Relations issues.
Your Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Labor Law and 5+ years of relevant experience.
An Intermediate Technician's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with relevant experience valued.
Deep knowledge of Spanish Labor Law;
international labor lawexperience is a plus.
Ability to mediate disputes and facilitate resolutions.
A proactive approach to proposing solutions.
Collaborative and flexible attitude.
Strong analytical and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
