At redk, we’re looking for a Mid-Senior Zendesk Developer to join our Professional Services team (Spain or UK) and deliver custom solutions for clients.
You will proactively plan solutions from concept stage to ensure efficient deployment and long-term success.
Key responsibilities
- Build core application modules/components for our platforms and applications.
- Design and implement Zendesk integrations with existing infrastructure/systems.
- Gather and analyze business/system requirements; translate them into robust solutions.
- Join design sessions and work directly with clients to refine, test and debug solutions.
- Participate in incident response/outage troubleshooting.
- Apply proven design patterns, clean readable code, solid component design, and low technical debt.
- Extend and optimize current software architecture.
- Participate in design & code reviews.
- Document and communicate feedback to Engineering for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on QA tasks and follow a testing-oriented methodology.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, Agile environment.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years hands-on software development experience with modern PHP and JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., backbone.js, underscore.js, node.js, react.js).
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
- MVC frameworks + databases (MySQL, MSSQL and/or Oracle).
- Web services + troubleshooting experience.
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, OS, debugging).
- Git.
- Strong written/verbal communication in EN/ES, deadline-driven, adaptable.
- We value candidates familiar with using AI and technologies such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho.
