We support customers around the world in this critical industry and are looking for a motivated and detailed individual to join our team as Accountant supporting our operations in Italy and Spain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintaining subledgers, posting journal entries, bank reconciliations, assistance in preparing financial statements, in accordance with Local GAAP (Italy & Spain)
2. Assistance with audit process, preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
3. Management of the employee expense claim process, accounts receivable & payable Assist in performing month end close and/or in preparation of management documents and presentations
4. Ad hoc support across the finance function, other general administration tasks
5. Assist and/or lead special projects
6. Understand. Create. Simplify
7. Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
8. B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
9. Two (2) plus years of relevant experience
10. Motivated, self-directed
11. Strong excel skills
12. Excellent writing and speaking skills in Italian and Spanish. High level of English
13. Ability to quickly learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
14. Ability to work with others remotely
Preferred Qualifications
15. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or ADE
16. Project accounting, tax, and/or cost accounting experience
17. Working experience with Microsoft AX
18. Knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI

This position is located in our Madrid, Spain office which is located near the Ramon y Cajal train station and has great access to metro and bus transport.
