The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) is a biomedical research and innovation centre oriented to generate value and impact in society, promoting social and economic progress. We are a CERCA centre accredited as a Health Research Institute by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). At I3PT, our commitment to ethics, transparency and research excellence is endorsed by the European HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) seal. This recognition certifies our optimal working conditions, promoting equal opportunities, professional development and an inclusive and quality research environment. The selected person will be linked to the Innovation and Technology Transfer Unit of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute. The Unit's main functions are to boost knowledge generated in research and clinical practice for the development of products and services that improve patients' lives and transform society.
Functions to develop
* Seek funding for projects.
* Identify commercial partners.
* Support in the development of business plans.
* Transfer the assets developed through the creation of spin-offs or licenses to companies.
* Carry out technological surveillance.
* Promote innovative culture through training and innovation programs internally and externally.
* Participate in accelerators or innovation programs.
* Participate in innovation events and conferences.
Requirements
* University degree in life and health sciences : Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Nursing etc.
* Minimum of one year of previous experience in similar positions.
* Knowledge of business, finance, and financing and investment models.
* Advanced level of Catalan, Spanish and English (oral and written).

* Technical knowledge in ICT or “medical device” technological developments.
* Experience in the field of healthcare innovation.
* Experience in the world of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial character.
* Network of contacts of the main national and international agents of the life and health sciences ecosystem.
* Knowledge of technology monitoring and evaluation tools, conducting market studies, business models and technology transfer.
* Experience in participating in project accelerators and knowledge of the local and international ecosystem.
* Organizational skills, teamwork, empathy, communication, rigor and assumption of responsibilities.
* Mastery of office tools and databases

The selected person will be employed, through an indefinite contract, in accordance with what is contemplated in Law 17 / 2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14 / 2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation, in its article 23-bis, “contracts for scientific and technical activities”, for the development of the PTC20 / 00015 project.
This position is funded by the “Platform for the dynamization and innovation of the industrial capacities of the National Health System and its effective transfer to the productive sector, PTC20 / 00015”, funded by the Carlos III Health Institute, and with possible financing from the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER)”, and therefore its duration is linked to it.
