We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join our Global Digital Foundations team. Based in Bilbao, you will play a key role in designing and guiding secure, scalable, and cost-effective hybrid cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. This senior position combines technical leadership, architectural strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams and technologies.
As part of the Cloud & Connectivity product group, you'll help drive cloud innovation and standardization across Azure, AWS, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
Defining and implementing Azure-based architecture for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
Designing secure and scalable Azure Landing Zones in a hybrid/multi-cloud context.
Standardizing deployments with FinOps, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Leading cloud service lifecycle: design, selection, implementation, and decommissioning.
Collaborating with IT, architects, service providers, and business stakeholders across regions.
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 8+ years in cloud or senior infrastructure roles.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (e.G., VMs, NSGs, Policy, Monitor) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Azure CLI).
Experience in hybrid enterprise architecture and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Strong conceptual thinking, execution focus, and the ability to simplify complex topics.
Fluent English communication and certifications including AZ-305 and ITIL Foundation (AZ-104, Terraform Associate, or AWS certs are a plus).
