This opportunity is with one of Dubai’s most iconic five‑star luxury properties, internationally recognized for its culinary distinction, refined guest experiences, and world‑class service standards. The hotel forms part of a globally renowned luxury hospitality group and is celebrated for delivering exceptional dining across multiple award‑winning outlets and extensive banqueting operations.

Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished, innovative, and operationally strong Executive Pastry Chef to lead the pastry and bakery function of a prestigious luxury hotel in Dubai.

The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in British and French pastry traditions, complemented by modern techniques and creative presentation. Experience within Michelin‑recognized kitchens or Michelin‑caliber dining environments is considered a strong advantage.

This role demands proven leadership in high‑volume luxury operations, including large‑scale banqueting and multiple dining outlets, while maintaining uncompromising quality, consistency, and elegance.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage all pastry and bakery operations across restaurants, lounges, banquets, and events

Create refined and innovative dessert menus rooted in British and French pastry techniques, aligned with luxury brand standards

Deliver consistent excellence in presentation, flavor, and production across high‑volume operations

Oversee daily kitchen operations, production planning, and service execution

Ensure strict compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations

Manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, and wastage effectively

Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership on menu development and seasonal offerings

Support large‑scale banquets, VIP events, and high‑profile culinary activations

Train, mentor, and develop a diverse pastry brigade, fostering creativity and succession planning

Stay current with global pastry trends, luxury presentation styles, and industry innovations

Represent the hotel professionally during tastings, guest interactions, VIP functions, and selected brand engagements

Core Competencies & Experience

Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a five‑star luxury or Michelin‑standard environment

Strong expertise in British and French pastry, bakery, plated desserts, and chocolate work

Michelin background or experience in Michelin‑recognized kitchens is a significant plus

Demonstrated experience managing high‑volume operations, including large banqueting and multiple outlets

Exceptional leadership, communication, and team‑development skills

Strong commercial understanding of cost control and menu engineering

Creative, structured, and detail‑driven with a passion for culinary excellence

Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced luxury hospitality setting

International experience, particularly within the Middle East or luxury brands, is an advantage

Relevant culinary certifications or professional qualifications preferred

Work Schedule
This position follows an operational schedule based on luxury hospitality requirements. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays, particularly during peak seasons, banquets, and special events. xpzdshu Weekly days off are rotational and subject to operational needs.
