Where music lives.****WHAT UTOPIANS DO**The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable** Fair Pay For Every Play** to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.**THE ROLE**The product copywriter will focus on helping the product development and product marketing teams align all copy and marketing material requirements for products being developed under our seven business units. You will need to have a fair knowledge of UX, user journeys, heatmaps, marketing, and interfaces. You will also create all CRM copy required to avoid churn and increase user engagement.The role reports to Directors of Content and will work closely with Product teams,Product Marketing, Marketing, and the Business Units.This position is remote and can be based in any of our European offices.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- You will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high quality levels in all copy related to the product and product marketing output- You will write and edit content for different product marketing materials including decks, product descriptions, campaigns, functionalities, FAQs, How to Guides, upgrades, app store content, animations, etcetcera.- You will edit any required product marketing related material- You will work closely with the product teams to understand the customer journey and feedback to optimize the user experience- You will help create CRM copy for campaigns aimed at reducing churn and increasing customer engagement- You will maintain tonality and style guidelines across all product marketing copy and content- You will brainstorm new ideas and content proposals**REQUIREMENTS**- You have 1-2 years of either UX, or product marketing copywriting experience- You have worked with tech teams and understand customer journeys- You are either a native English speaker or can write to a native level- You are organized and are detail oriented- You feel comfortable working cross functionally- Experience in MusicTech is preferred but not required**WHAT WE OFFER**- Great atmosphere -** we live, love & breathe music & tech!**:- Working in an impact oriented team and inclusive company culture.- An experienced team to learn from, with proven track records in multiple startups and big tech companies.- Our** flexible remote policy **provides Utopians the freedom to work either from one of our inspiring offices or from home.- We celebrate being an international and multicultural company.- **Competitive benefits; packages depend on location.** You’ll be given more details on this during the interview process.**UTOPIANS**As we want to bring transparency, trust, and clarity to the music industry we serve, we know a change comes from within.
