Your role
As a Business Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) you will be part of the global “Reporting and Analytics” team within Group Investment Management. You will collaborate closely with business users in different countries and translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyse interrelationships of business processes, complex data and financial systems, define IT specifications and implement reporting front-end solution for our global end user base.
Responsibilities
* Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, and adapt them according to business needs and changes in regulation
* Ensure the quality of data across reporting tools with appropriate control checks and analysis of results
* Analyze reporting & analytics business requirements and translate into functional and technical solution specifications
* Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions
* Perform impact analysis of applications with an end-to-end view of the system
* Continuously improve existing reporting processes, services and infrastructure
* Provide end-user support / training for reporting needs
* Ensure compliance and governance
* Collaborate with Investment Management and Finance teams to identify reporting needs
* Analyze Investments data and provide insights into the results

Your Skills and Experience
As Business Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) your education and personal skills will ideally include:
Education
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology and/or quantitative fields such as Statistics and Math with good academic records
* Understanding of financial products, financial markets and main accounting principles (IFRS, GAAPs)
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* CFA / CPA / CMA / ACCA certification is a plus
Technical skills
* 3-4 years of proven experience with financial data analysis and business analytics, preferably in financial services or insurance
* Business Analyst skills (analysis, requirements engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Coding skills (SQL, Python, Spark)
* Familiarity with SAP BW, FAM / TRM or FICO is a plus
* Data management (quality checks, modelling, data warehousing, governance) a plus
* Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or QlikView) is an asset
Personal skills
* Ability to work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitate workshops with stakeholders
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Creative thinking and intellectual curiosity
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
* Good self-management skills and stress resilience
