Overview
We are looking for professionals to expand our Manufacturing Technologies team, with a specialization in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), within the Statics & Structures Operating Unit.
Responsibilities
* Supporting manufacturing processes for new components, working closely with Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Tooling.
* Defining and validating data cards.
* Identifying and implementing the improvements required to industrialise the product and achieve reductions in lead time, product cost and cost of non-quality.
* Providing support to production and contributing to the continuous improvement of the process.
* Conducting internal audits (Confirmations).
* Supporting audits (NADCAP, AENOR and customer audits).
Candidate profile
* Education: Advanced Vocational Training or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies or a similar qualification.
* Required experience: At least 3 years experience in special processes, mainly in Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) processes.
* Required knowledge:
* Manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of chemical processes will be considered an advantage.
* NDT Level 2 certification (preferably FPI, X-ray, VT).
* Languages: Fluent spoken and written Spanish.
* Experience desirable (not essential): in materials (Metallography); machining processes in general; welding processes and dimensional verification; management software: Teamcenter, SAP.
* Personal skills: Teamwork, coordination and communication skills; decision-making ability; autonomy and proactivity; results-oriented mindset; ability to learn and adapt; motivation to pursue continuous, day-to-day improvement.
Training
We will provide training in:
* Additional NDT training in specific processes (brazing, pressure testing, flow checks).
* Manufacturing processes for static aircraft engine components under the responsibility of the Structures Engineering area, including their function, materials and key processes.
* Product and process management tools and software.
* Quality management of aeronautical parts.
Team and Location
You will be based at facilities in Zamudio (Bizkaia), working alongside professionals with extensive experience in the sector. The successful candidate will join a young yet experienced and multidisciplinary team, working on major long-term projects for the civil and defence aviation industry. The working teams are made up of professionals with expertise across various areas of industrial processes, including process engineering, specialists in special joining processes, coatings and materials, as well as quality engineering, production managers and project managers.
