In this position, you are responsible for various aspects of Trade Accounting. You will work in a dynamic, international, and challenging environment, liaising with our core business regarding the financial results for the commodities you oversee.
Our Business Control team is part of the Accounting department within Viterra B.V., comprising 9 colleagues. The team is supportive, motivated, and ambitious, working collaboratively in an informal setting.
Your role in our network
* Prepare Trade Balance Sheets and Trade P&L for multiple commodities.
* Generate global results of the Viterra group per commodity and analyze outcomes with accountants across various offices.
* Manage mark-to-market valuations of commodities, derivatives, and freight positions.
* Reconcile inventory and derivatives positions with third-party statements.
* Participate in the audit process of Viterra B.V.
* Handle ad-hoc business requests and IT projects to enhance accounting and reporting efficiency.

Who are we looking for?
* Master’s degree in (Financial) Economics or a relevant field.
* Experience in an audit firm, preferably Big 4, is a strong plus.
* IT literacy, with extensive knowledge of MS Office and SAP preferred.
* Practical attitude, good communication skills, proactive, and no-nonsense mentality.
* Accurate with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Curious and eager to learn about the company’s business.
* Applicants must reside in the Netherlands.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice-to-have skills include SAP knowledge. Location options include Breda or Catalonia, Spain.
