We’re hiring a
Sales Operations Manager, to become the global owner of our sales engine for
Embedded Services
— one of Sage’s fastest-growing strategic priorities.
This is not a “maintain the status quo” role.
This is a build-the-foundation role.

Why this role matters
You’ll design and own the global sales operations infrastructure, powering some of our most complex enterprise deals across multiple regions.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership and influence how we:
Forecast and plan globally
Your first 90 days
First 30 days:
Dive deep into our sales motion. Assess pipeline health, CRM governance, and forecasting accuracy to identify key improvement areas.
By day 60:
Define the global operating model and standards. Align Sales, Finance, and Legal around a clear, scalable framework.
By day 90:
Roll out the first iteration of processes, reporting structures, and GTM playbooks — delivering a repeatable, forecastable enterprise sales engine ready to scale.
What you'll be doing
Global Salesforce governance, pipeline hygiene, and enterprise data integrity
Enterprise forecasting in partnership with Finance
The enterprise deal desk (pricing approvals, non-standard terms, commercial exceptions)
Build and evolve GTM playbooks across the full deal lifecycle
Sales tech stack optimisation and implementation
Territory and coverage planning aligned to global opportunities
You’ll act as the single global owner in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Experience in Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Operations within SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software
Proven ownership of CRM governance and multi-region forecasting
Strong Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and sales analytics capability
Experience building scalable processes from first principles
Confidence influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
Ability to translate complex pipeline data into executive-level insights
Embedded/API-led sales motions, CPQ models, early-stage sales ops build-outs, or regulated financial services environments.
