What success looks like in this role:
• Gains familiarity with Software Applications Engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies.
• With guidance, performs assigned software and application development duties, including:
* Coding and performing unit testing to detect and fix anticipated issues,
* Performing build and deployment activities for application development efforts,
* Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability,
* Working to understand use case and requirements and explore alternative solutions, and
* Assessing how proposed development/changes may impact functionality and aligned applications or processes.
• Learns and adheres to company and industry standard coding guidelines, continuous integration (CI), and source code processes.
• Reports task status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to lead/manager.
• Completes assigned training/upskilling tasks on time.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
