About the role:
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to focus on European markets, particularly Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. This position is remote and requires managing diverse markets and cultural nuances.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
Master’s degree in International Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration (optional but advantageous)
Experience:
Proven digital marketing management experience, preferably in an agency setting
Experience with international markets and understanding cultural nuances in Germany, France, Spain, Italy
Experience working remotely and managing multi-channel campaigns across multiple markets
Language Skills:
Fluent in English;
proficiency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian is highly advantageous
Knowledge of local marketing trends and consumer behavior in these countries
Technical & Digital Marketing Skills:
Proficiency with SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, affiliate and influencer marketing
Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEMrush
Content strategy knowledge tailored to European markets
Cultural Understanding:
Deep understanding of local consumer behaviors and regulations such as GDPR
Ability to localize campaigns effectively
Leadership & Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Leadership ability to manage remote teams and coordinate cross-functional groups
Strategy & Analytical Skills:
Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns
Experience managing budgets across multiple campaigns and markets
Adaptability & Flexibility:
Comfort working across different time zones and in dynamic environments
Client Relationship Management:
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic insights
Experience in client reporting and communication
Tools and Platforms:
Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, Pipedrive
Experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads
Certifications (Optional):
Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, SEMrush or Moz certifications
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving, time management, proactive mindset, entrepreneurial spirit
Other Qualifications:
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)
Understanding of B2B marketing and ABM strategies
Network of local partners or influencers in target markets
