Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a versatile Software Test Engineer to join our software department and work on both functional testing and test automation. In this hybrid role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Python-based frameworks, while also performing manual functional testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to validate new features, ensure regression coverage, and improve our testing processes.
Review requirements and specifications to create detailed functional test cases
Execute manual tests for new features and regression cycles
Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python-based frameworks
Implement automation for Web UI (Selenium/Playwright) and API layers
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
General QA responsibilities
Maintain clear software development specifications (SDS) and test documentation
Participate in requirements analysis to ensure testability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality
Approximately three years of experience in software testing
Strong knowledge of Python programming for automation
Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for Web UI automation
Hands-on experience with API testing (e.G., requests, pytest, Postman)
Proven experience in manual functional testing for web applications
Ability to design, write, and execute test cases both manually and via automation
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Experience with Selenium Grid or distributed test execution
Understanding of Gherkin syntax for behavior-driven testing
Knowledge of CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps or similar)
Experience in Scrum/Agile environments
Experience with Linux and Docker
Strong understanding of OOP principles in test automation
