WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join the My Porsche Team, responsible for developing a cutting-edge mobile app that redefines customer interaction with their luxury vehicles and lifestyle.
As part of the Dreamers Team, you will help create engaging experiences guiding customers from purchase to delivery. The team is cross-functional and fully responsible for the product lifecycle.
You will also contribute to fostering our local company culture and establishing new collaboration standards within our organization and network.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
We are looking for an autonomous Senior Backend Engineer with at least 5 years of experience, capable of adding value through both personal qualities and professional expertise to a highly mature and independent team.
Backend Specific Knowledge:
Java (Spring Boot, Kotlin)
Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK)
Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
Knowledge of clean code, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with domain-driven design and layered architecture
Experience understanding and refactoring legacy code
Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Typescript (nice to have)
Team Specific (nice to have):
Experience with tools like Splunk, New Relic, Contentful, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Github, and general DevOps practices is desirable but not mandatory, as onboarding can cover any gaps.
