This role involves managing complex insurance debtors and creditors within an international environment, working alongside other credit controllers.Your primary responsibilities include:
Liaising with international and domestic customers, insurance intermediaries, and reinsurers to ensure timely collection of premiums and recoveries.Managing broker and reinsurer accounts, building effective relationships, and working collaboratively to meet team goals.Working closely with underwriting, operations, and claims teams to resolve queries.Developing strong analytical, relationship management, and communication skills.Gaining a deeper understanding of international insurance programs, including re-insurance, and expanding your expertise.Key Responsibilities :
Reconciling debtor and creditor accounts, analyzing discrepancies, and tracking resolution actions.Maintaining effective relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.Achieving targets for gross and reinsurance debt and unallocated cash.Handling information requests, prioritizing, and responding or redirecting as needed.Coordinating with finance and other departments to ensure accuracy and resolve queries.Following credit control processes and contributing to their improvement.Working within authority levels and seeking approval for policy executions.Issuing monthly statements to brokers.Participating in projects and initiatives.Understanding legal requirements, RSA policies, and Broker TOBAs.Accurately recording data in a timely manner.Skills and Experience :
