Based on proprietary Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) technology utilizing silkworm cocoon production, we're delivering high-quality enzymes to the life sciences market. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and relationship-building skills to accelerate our growth in the RUO enzyme market. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Details /strong /pulliMinimum 7 years in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the life sciences industry /liliProven track record selling molecular biology reagents, enzymes, or research consumables /liliDemonstrated success in global B2B sales with measurable revenue growth /liliExperience with RUO products, biotech manufacturing, or enzyme applications preferred /li /ulpstrongTechnical Knowledge /strong /pulliUnderstanding of molecular biology techniques (PCR, NGS, DNA synthesis) /liliFamiliarity with enzyme applications in research and diagnostics /liliKnowledge of competitive landscape in molecular enzymes (T7 polymerases, ligases, pyrophosphatases, NGS enzymes) /liliUnderstanding manufacturing technologies (expression systems, protein purification) is advantageous /li /ulpstrongLanguages /strong /pullistrongEssential: /strong Fluent English, other languages a plus. /li /ulpstrongCommercial Skills /strong /pulliExpertise in solution selling and consultative sales approaches /liliStrong negotiation and contract management capabilities /liliExperience with pricing strategies, financial modeling, and business case development /li /ulpbr/ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /ppstrongRevenue Generation Sales /strong /pullistrongDrive sales targets: /strong Achieve annual revenue goals and contribute to company projections /lilistrongPipeline development: /strong Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across key markets and customer segments /lilistrongDeal closure: /strong Lead negotiations from initial contact through contract signing and implementation /lilistrongAccount management: /strong Develop strategic relationships with key accounts in pharma, biotech, academia, and diagnostics /lilistrongTechnical sales support: /strong Provide pre-sales technical consultation, understanding customer applications and matching enzyme solutions to their needs /li /ulpstrong Market Development Strategy /strong collateral: /strong Develop sales presentations, brochures, and technical documentation for various customer segments /lilistrongSocial media engagement: /strong Support LinkedIn and other professional platform activities to build brand awareness and thought leadership /lilistrongProduct launches: /strong Support marketing activities for new enzyme releases /lilistrongTrade show planning: /strong Coordinate booth presence, promotional materials, and pre-show marketing for conferences and exhibitions /lilistrongBrand messaging: /strong Ensure consistent brand voice and value proposition /li /ulp strongPartnership Collaboration /strong /pullistrongStrategic partnerships: /strong Identify and develop relationships with potential OEM partners, distributors, and co-development opportunities /lilistrongCross-functional liaison: /strong Serve as the bridge between customers and Cocoon's technical teams (RD, Production, Quality) /lilistrongSpecification development: /strong Work with customers and internal teams to establish product specifications that meet market requirements /lilistrongCustomer success: /strong Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support, application troubleshooting, and responsive service /li /ulpstrong Representation Networking /strong /pullistrongEvent presence: /strong Represent Cocoon at international conferences, trade shows, and industry events (SLAS, PEGS, BIO, regional symposia) /li /ulpbr/ppstrongKey Competencies /strong /ppstrongAttitudes /strong /pulliEntrepreneurial mindset with proactive
