What You Will Do
* Define system and safety requirements for ECU software functions.
* Conduct risk analysis and identify adverse events (EIC) and foreseeable uses (URP).
* Perform fault tree analysis and FMEA, including root‑cause identification and treatment plans.
* Identify and validate degraded modes and safety concepts (FSC/TSC).
* Design dysfunctional validation tests and manage safety anomaly validation.
* Prepare safety and diagnosis synthesis files and risk management demonstration dossiers.
What We’re Looking For
* A proven track record in functional safety management and failure mode analysis (FMEA).
* Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.
* Excellent skills in system architecture definition and validation methods for new functions.
* Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills with a multicultural approach.
* Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
* Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
