Experteer Overview In this role you drive sourcing and procurement for automotive projects, coordinating with project teams to secure supplier capacity, manage RFQs, auctions, and SoCo/SOP milestones. You align with Segment and Commodity organizations to optimize bundle opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time project progression. You will use PuMa and SAP to document decisions, track milestones, and transfer readiness to serial production. - Attend project meetings and lead or support all purchasing-related activities through project closure
- Prepare and validate Sourcing Plans, RFQ processes, and SoCo/SOP milestones to meet QCD targets
- Select supplier bid-lists from compliant segments and identify bundle opportunities with project and segment teams
- Identify Critical Parts per CLEAN definitions and coordinate risk mitigation with PTM, including design reviews and potential specification changes
- Coordinate S-VRF definition and plan supplier design reviews to ensure supplier understanding and acceptance of Valeo requirements
- Promote PuMa usage within the project team and ensure proper documentation and milestones are up-to-date
- Involve Segment Leader or Group Segment Director to align sourcing with Group strategy and constraints
- Assess supplier risk (development/production capacity, technical/quality capability, financial sustainability) and propose mitigation plans with proper documentation
- Propose lotting and RFP tactics, anticipate auctions, and leverage commodity organization for pre-sourcing and decisions
- Manage RFQ processes via PuMa and Auctions (live/online) to meet project targets
- Escalate issues to appropriate levels to ensure risk mitigation and adherence to SoCo decisions and Segment strategies
- Ensure timely sign-off with stakeholders to enable successful auction events and reliable SoCo forecasting
- Coordinate with productivity buyers for potential P/N identifications and business link applications
- Forecast project purchasing index and drive productivity actions toward PTBV and CAA targets
- Create Early Open Orders in SAP in coordination with productivity buyers
- Define and control communication flows between project teams and suppliers, ensuring proper PuMa storage of contracts, LON, LTA, and BL
- Track milestone progress across suppliers and PQA stages
- Coordinate with global plant teams to ensure platform-level sourcing strategy, localization, and supply base securization
- For advanced purchasing (P3/P2), select pre-sourcing target suppliers and manage all contractual aspects to protect Valeo IP
