Job Purpose 
The Senior Product Manager is a subject‑matter expert for historian software usage and integration across GSK’s manufacturing sites. The role provides technical expertise, lifecycle management, and strategic direction for key digital products aligned with business goals. You will develop and manage the roadmap for historian systems, ensuring data collection, storage, accessibility, and integration with other platforms. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Own and evolve product strategy and roadmap for historian systems. 
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to root‑cause analysis for historian tools such as Aspen IP.21 and Aspen Inmation. 
- Collaborate with central technology functions to ensure data integration to cloud‑based platforms. 
- Work with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver high‑impact solutions and track success metrics for product adoption and performance. 
- Maintain backlog management, ensuring items are well defined, estimated, and aligned with roadmap goals. 
- Address IT risks, including business continuity, security, and data confidentiality. 
- Manage engagement with strategic partners and vendors, overseeing contracts and delivery. 
- Contribute to future expansion initiatives, such as Manufacturing Data Management and Factory Integration. 
Location 
Based at one of GSK manufacturing sites in the UK, Europe, USA, or India. Hybrid working arrangements can be discussed during the interview process. 
About You 
You are a self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills, a proven ability to influence stakeholders, and a continuous improvement mindset. You thrive in complex technical environments and possess strong collaboration and communication skills. 
Basic Qualifications 
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. 
- Experience managing historian systems or similar data platforms. 
- Understanding of data governance and compliance, preferably from a highly regulated environment. 
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. 
Preferred Qualifications 
- Knowledge or experience of GMP is highly advantageous.
