Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Governance: Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and renewable energy reporting standards.
2. Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT hardware, software, networks, and systems, managing cloud platforms, SCADA, and renewable energy monitoring tools. Ensure reliable IT infrastructure at remote sites and offices.
3. Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Implement cybersecurity protocols, ensuring NIS2 compliance. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to address vulnerabilities.
4. Data Analytics and Reporting: Design data analytics solutions for performance monitoring of renewable energy assets, supporting real-time monitoring of plants and managing data interfaces and reporting outputs.
5. Team Leadership: Lead the IT team in adopting new systems and technologies, promoting skill development in emerging technologies relevant to renewable energy.
6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors and collaborate with internal teams to address IT needs across engineering, revenues, finance, and operations.
7. Project Management: Oversee IT projects, including upgrades, new technology implementations, and integrations, while managing budgets and timelines.
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in management, technical roles, or similar positions. Solid IT skills are essential. Comfortable working across various project phases with a strong understanding of their interactions. Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian and/or Portuguese are advantageous. Candidates must have the right to work in Spain and be willing to travel within Europe and globally if needed. An understanding of business and strategic objectives, legal, and regulatory concepts is important. An interest in renewable energy is a prerequisite; power industry experience is a plus. A strategic mindset and sound business judgment are essential.
