The position is based in our Spain (Polinya) office and reports directly to our Procurement Director, EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Support defining and executing category strategies within the global category team, ensuring regional stakeholder needs are reflected. Alongside, you will be part of defining sustainable strategies
- Lead sourcing activities and cost‑saving initiatives, including market analysis, supplier selection, and project implementation
- Act as regional point of contact, liaising closely with Operations and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain up‑to‑date market and supplier intelligence to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support strategic collaboration, working with global category team colleagues, stakeholders, and business partners to drive measurable impact
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Economics, Procurement, or Supply Chain, combined with 5+ years of experience in category management across regional or global supply chains
- Experience or interest in sustainable procurement and working with suppliers to improve ESG performance
- Strong supplier relationship management, financial acumen, and proven ability to lead sourcing activities and cost‑saving initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a structured approach to project execution
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to operate effectively in an international environment
If you have experience in Chemicals and/or Coatings industry it is a big plus yet not a requirement.
