Job Description
As a Full-Stack Cross-Platform Mobile Engineer, you will re-architect our mobile stack using Rust, Android/Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI. You will lead with end-to-end ownership, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that delight our users. Your enthusiasm will drive innovation across our Mail and Calendar products.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using a blend of Rust, Swift, and Kotlin.
* Take ownership of mobile development projects, including scoping, managing deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.
* Explore new technologies and methodologies to foster innovation and solve complex engineering challenges.
* Optimize applications for performance, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
* Master memory management, multithreading, and concurrency to enhance app performance.
* Design for scalability, considering data caching, network bandwidth, and server load.
* Maintain a customer-centric approach, seeking feedback and iterating to improve user experience.
The ideal candidate will possess
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
* A passion for learning and evolving in mobile development.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience developing iOS and Android apps using Swift, Kotlin, and cross-platform tools.
* Proficiency with SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and familiarity with Rust.
* Understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
* Knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
* Experience with scalability considerations in mobile apps.
