The Medical Writer Supervisor’s work focuses on developing and supervising scientific content (from slide decks to monographs, promotional materials, abstracts, article reviews, congress reports and more).
Key responsibilities
Supervision of medical and publication strategies.
Devising medical and publication strategy.
Bibliographic background research.
Creation, editing, and validation of scientific materials.
Ensuring proper referencing and scientific accuracy of all materials; incorporating all client feedback in a proper and timely manner.
KOL management.
Skills & Experience
Must have a health science degree (e.g., biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus.
5 years of experience in medical writing and scientific content supervision.
Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
Key Opinion Leaders management.
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.
Native/Bilingual Spanish or English speaker.
Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers.
Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus.
