We are seeking an IT DevOps Lead to oversee all day-to-day operations, support audit-related aspects, manage licenses/vendor relations, operational budget management, and ensure compliance, quality, and security in all operational aspects of a Data Science platform.
Engage and lead service level reviews/KPIs review meetings with Business and work with vendors to ensure smooth business operations with proper controls like Disaster recovery/business continuity models.
Engage with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate DDIT teams and Functions to ensure operational enhancements proceed smoothly with the right quality and timelines.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
* Collect operational demands/enhancement requests for the Data Science platform.
* Work with SaaS vendors/cloud providers to ensure platform availability and performance.
* Regularly update/review application roadmaps, technology modernization efforts, and eliminate unused assets. Conduct service review meetings with business and vendors, ensuring SLA/KPI adherence.
* Ensure training materials are current. Manage licenses, budgets, and contracts for various tools and vendors.
* Handle escalations, overall quality management, technical security, user access, and support audit readiness for internal and external audits. Support critical/major incidents (incident management).
* Adhere to GxP compliance processes, manage quality events, risks, deviations, and periodic reviews.
* Stay updated on internal IT systems, documentation standards (including quality management and IT security), regulatory environments, and industry best practices. Additional testing specifications are required.
* Develop operational cost estimates and financial models (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investments). Perform change impact assessments and ensure compliant deployment of changes.
* Ensure solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose. Keep abreast of internal IT systems and documentation standards.
* Manage cloud financial operations, with working experience with SaaS vendors.

* Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Pharma or IT industry.
* At least 8+ years in Pharma domain; 6+ years in service operations roles.
* Experience managing/supporting Data Science platforms.
* Experience in Analytics, Cloud management, clinical business processes, and working with SaaS vendors is preferred.
* Data strategy and standardization experience is an advantage.
* Expertise in business process analysis, system architecture, and clinical trial business processes.
* Knowledge of GxP, 21CFR Part 11, and CSV lifecycle.
* Ability to solve complex business and information challenges. Skilled in global team collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
* Knowledge of product management, agile methodologies, and experience in digital innovation projects is an added advantage.
