**Job Details**Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.With this joint venture, two rich, 100-year-old cultures and histories have come together to create one exciting new company, serving our combined customers with the most diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry.For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:**Production Line Manager****What you will do**As a Production Line Manager you will be able to manage the effective operation of the UAP (Production Plant Team), as well as the HR issues for the team members.The person selected will be responsible for planning production schedules and ensuring that the production process is carried out within budget and on time.**How you will do it**- Follow production plans, as well as JCH standard processes; assure feasibility of production plans.- Achieve financial targets: prepare and present the UAP budget; manage the actual production costs based on "ideal" costs; maintain product margin, and monitor serial productivity (labor level, material consumption, etc.).- Manage the UAP team: assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and Quality, detect and advise training needs, share information (transparency), participate in career management initiatives, etc.- Implement action plans in order to improve functionality/productivity and to obtain program and Group objectives; make necessary corrective adjustments.- Coordinate resource planning with Industrial Engineering department concerning stocks, equipment, staffing, activities, etc.- Maintain dashboard indicators/status reports to monitor lead time, supply-chain targets, HSE performance, etc**What we are looking for**Engineering Degree (industrial, mechanical or electronic)More that 7 years similar industry related experienceLeadership abilities.
