Our client, a growing mid-sized Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), is seeking an ambitious Business Development Director to drive expansion across Europe. This is a key opportunity for a proactive professional with a hunter mindset and a passion for developing strategic partnerships with biotech and pharma clients.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for establishing and expanding the company’s presence in European markets. The role will focus on early-phase clinical trials (Phase 1-2) in oncology, CNS, and rare diseases, working closely with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to drive business growth. From identifying high-potential opportunities to closing deals, this role plays a critical part in positioning the organisation as a leading partner in clinical research.
Identify and engage with key biotech and pharma decision-makers to build long-term partnerships.
Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events across Europe.
Proven experience in business development within a full-service CRO, biotech, or pharma setting.
Ability to develop new business pipelines and secure high-value contracts with biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Fluency in English; Competitive salary and performance-driven commission structure.
