Strategic Sales Director – Tier 1 Service Providers (Southern Europe / Mediterranean)

A leading general innovator in telecommunications technology is seeking a strategic, value-driven sales leader to accelerate growth across Southern Europe.
This is a high-impact role focused on winning new business, shaping complex deals, and building executive relationships with some of the region’s most influential service providers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and execute account strategies across Tier 1 telecom operators in Southern Europe
- Identify, develop, and close large, complex, value-based opportunities
- Build strong relationships with key operators across the region
- Position solutions as a strategic partner at executive level
- Develop multi-domain strategies spanning access, CPE, managed services, customer support, and marketing
- Drive new business while expanding existing strategic accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maximise deal success and revenue growth
- Provide regional market insight and competitive intelligence
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years’ experience in telecoms or IT sales, focused on Tier 1 service providers
- Proven success in winning new business and closing complex deals
- Strong expertise in value-based selling methodologies
- Solid understanding of broadband and cloud technologies
- Established network across the Southern European telecom ecosystem
- Fluent in English, plus Spanish or Italian preferred
- Skilled in navigating relationship-driven, multi-country environments
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
