Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a high-performing commercial team delivering large-scale data centre (DC) projects across Spain. This role is ideally suited to experienced professionals with a strong track record in major infrastructure or mission-critical environments who are comfortable working in a fly-in, fly-out capacity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all commercial aspects of data centre construction projects
* Provide accurate cost planning, procurement, and financial reporting
* Administer contracts in line with project requirements and client standards
* Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and final accounts
* Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
* Monitor project progress, risks, and commercial performance
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, delivery, and client functions
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on complex construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong background in data centre (DC) or mission-critical environments preferred
* Solid understanding of commercial management, contract administration, and cost control
* Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, international project environment
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Willingness and flexibility to work on a fly-in, fly-out basis
Additional Criteria
* EU passport strongly preferred (due to project mobility and access requirements)
* Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills are advantageous
* Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management) preferred
