About the role:
As a Fluid Systems Engineer you will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and be located at the Vilaseca, Tarragona offices working hybrid with the possibility to combine work from home and in the office. This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design
2. Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications
3. Conduct analysis for local and international projects within the Mechanical & Fluid Systems discipline
4. Coordinate other disciplines (I&C, electrical, civil & structural, license, layout) in projects and design modifications
5. Communicate status of work performed to technical leads and management
6. Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs
Qualifications:
7. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear)
8. Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW
9. Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFPA or API standards
10. Fluent in Spanish and English
11. Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included)
