Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data governance and metadata practices for the R&D data ecosystem, ensuring high-quality, well-documented data aligned with regulatory and corporate standards. You will partner with R&D data teams to embed governance into workflows, driving discoverability and compliance across diverse data types. You will champion data literacy and oversee governance activities, contributing to risk management and data integrity. This is an opportunity to shape the data foundation for innovative medicines and digital health initiatives at scale.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Oversee metadata lifecycle and enterprise data catalog maintenance - Document data elements and definitions with Data Owners and SMEs - Index and describe critical R&D datasets and master entities - Integrate governance capabilities into R&D workflows with related teams - Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and external partners to align definitions and lineage - Identify sources and owners, confirm stewardship and usage context - Participate in ontology and knowledge graph initiatives to harmonize metadata - Define governance rules and create SOPs, WIs, and SOWs - Implement automated governance monitoring, data profiling, and issue remediation - Govern R&D data strategy and align with Master Data Management and policy adoption - Ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and protect PII/PHI - Provide mentorship to stewardship teams and support value realization from governance improvementsResponsabilidades - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in related field - 5+ years in data management, business analysis, or related field in Life Sciences or regulated environments - Familiarity with ontologies, semantic standards, and data lineage frameworks - Experience with data governance and metadata platforms at scale - Strong leadership and communication skills - Solid understanding of data governance frameworks (e.G., DAMA-DMBOK) and metadata management - Familiarity with tools and cloud platforms: Collibra, Informatica, Alation, TileDb, Snowflake, Azure, AWS - Experience creating SOWs, SOPs, and WIs;
