Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a SENIOR BACKEND .NET ENGINEER in Barcelona
* Define and lead the technical strategy and backend architecture.
* Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software using best practices (SOLID, TDD, DDD).
* Guide the implementation of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and backend services.
* Utilize messaging brokers for asynchronous communication.
* Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps teams, etc.
* Lead code reviews and technical mentorship.
* Manage applications with Docker and deployments with Kubernetes.
* Improve CI/CD processes.
* Stay updated with technological trends.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in backend development with .NET (Core / .NET 6+).
* Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and clean code.
* Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
* Use of message buses like MassTransit, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
* Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL.
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
* Experience with microservices and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Leadership skills, problem-solving, and good communication skills.
* Fluent English.
