Associate Director, Field Business Lead - IberiaJoin to apply for the role at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.OverviewThe Associate Director, Field Business Lead, Iberia is a hybrid role between Sales (70%) and Marketing (30%). The person will develop and execute local brand and tactical plans in Iberia (Spain 90%, Portugal 10%), focusing on managing selected Alnylam products.This position is considered Virtual.The role acts as the primary customer-facing expert responsible for sales performance in Spain and Portugal, liaising with the Global Rare Marketing team and ensuring alignment and insights regarding local dynamics. The position reports to the Senior Director, West International Cluster Head for Rare Disease Business Unit, and is based in Madrid, Spain.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild local strategic brand and tactical plans.Implement local tactical activities such as marketing materials, congresses, educational and promotional events, and customer outreach.Develop Tactical Plans aligned with Global Rare strategy, in collaboration with the Cluster Head and Medical Lead.Analyze the territory to identify relevant diagnosis and treatment centers.Build relationships with healthcare stakeholders and serve as the main partner for key customers in Iberia.Represent Alnylam at local and national events and congresses.Coordinate local sales training activities.Track KPIs for early course correction and execution of tactics.Contribute to market access activities and forecast revenue and brand investments.Develop European strategic and tactical plans.Implement innovative multichannel marketing strategies, including tracking investments.Collaborate with regional product teams to inform local strategies based on market insights.Conduct all activities ethically, complying with laws and regulations.QualificationsProven experience in brand management, key account, and sales management.Experience in pharmaceutical sales, especially key account management.Experience with hospital marketing and orphan drugs.Strong knowledge of specialty care commercialization in Spain, and ideally Portugal.Line leadership experience is a plus.Educational background in Life Sciences;
Business degree is a plus.Fluent in Spanish and English.Excellent stakeholder communication skills across regional and local teams.Strong business and financial acumen.Customer and patient-focused mindset.Ability to travel regularly within the territory.Autonomous, pragmatic, organized, and operationally oriented working style.Experience with Veeva CRM tools.About Alnylam :
