**Open to English-speaking candidates who live in Portugal or Spain**
Account Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development.
Telecoms, Telecoms Software, Information systems.
The Sales and Account Manager is responsible for account management of a cluster of accounts with our clients' customers based in Europe, as well as pursuing new business sales opportunities across Europe or accounts that extend outside territories.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product.
This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management - Act as primary customer contact, building long-term relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty- Lead Generation - Actively seek new customers using multiple methods- Sales Pipeline Management - Track and manage sales process through Salesforce CRM with accurate forecasting and reporting- Customer Needs Assessment - Engage with customers and conduct market research to understand goals and challenges for tailored propositions- Problem Resolution - Address customer issues promptly to enhance the experience- Strategic Account Planning - Develop tailored account strategies aligned with customer objectives and growth opportunities- Cross-selling and Up-selling - Identify opportunities for additional sales and partner solutions- Sales Closing - Negotiate terms and finalise agreements to meet/exceed sales targets- Follow-up - Maintain post-presentation communication to address questions and encourage favourable outcomes- Cross-team Collaboration - Work with R&D;
, sales, strategic accounts,
marketing, and professional services teams- Contract Management - Manage renewals and negotiations for mutually beneficial outcomes- Voice of Customer - Represent customer interests in decision-making
Additional Responsibilities
- Help create a culture of learning, trust, and self-improvement - Maintain awareness and compliance with ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301, and GDPR regulations
Knowledge, skills and experience needed for the Account Manager / Sales Manager position;
- Communication skills. Effective verbal and written communications to convey ideas and solutions clearly- Empathy. Understanding customer and industry perspectives to build trust- Persistence. Demonstrate resilience in the face of rejection and the motivation to pursue opportunities diligently- Organisation skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts,
sales pursuits and priorities- Problem solving. Quick thinking, resourcefulness and a collaborative approach to resolving issues- Negotiation skills. Ability to negotiate contracts and terms effectively- Industry knowledge. Knowledge of the telecommunications industry alongside familiarity with the key market trends driving target customer requirements- Selling. Experience of solution and value-based selling- Account management. Effective in managing and growing accounts, along with identifying and leading new business opportunities to closure- Process driven. Strong understanding and application of sales and account management processes
