We are currently looking for a Senior Data Streaming Engineer to join an innovative and fast-paced environment focused on building scalable, real-time data platforms and distributed streaming solutions.
In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of a modern streaming ecosystem designed to process high-throughput, low-latency workloads while ensuring reliability, observability, and data quality across production systems.
This is you
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink, ideally using Java or SQL APIs
- Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systems
- Experience with streaming systems and modern data engineering practices
- Good knowledge of Kafka, stateful stream processing, exactly-once semantics, and fault tolerance
- Familiarity with concepts such as watermarks, event-time processing, savepoints, and checkpoints
- Experience working in production environments with a strong ownership mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization of streaming jobs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent English communication skills
- Portuguese language skills are mandatory

- Build and maintain real-time data pipelines using Apache Flink

- Improve reliability, monitoring, and performance of streaming jobs
- Ensure data quality and contribute to platform stability and evolution
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to transform requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to best practices around distributed systems, observability, and streaming platform operations
