Role The role is based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Infinni Innovations is proud to be part of the Canary Islands Special Economic Zone (ZEC Canarias), a hub for technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including intercompany transactions.
* Oversee accounts payable, receivable, employee expenses, and vendor invoices.
* Ensure accurate coding of accounting entries and maintain organized financial records.
* Assist with VAT filings, tax compliance, and audit preparation.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, HR) to ensure data accuracy.
* Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* 1-2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial statements.
* Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
* Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment.
* Excellent English communication; Spanish is a strong plus.
Nice to Have
* Experience in tech, fintech, or SaaS.
* Familiarity with Spanish accounting/tax practices.
* Knowledge of international operations (multi-currency, intercompany, payment processing).
