**Corporate Communications Officer (Sick, Maternity and Lactation Leave Cover) (MGMT 2025-05)**
The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Corporate Communications Officer to cover a sick and maternity leave.
Our mission is to lead, from the vantage point of molecular science, cross-strategies for solving major social and economic challenges, such as climate change and sustainable supply of energetic and raw materials, thereby contributing to the establishment of a knowledge-based economy and improving citizens’ quality of life in our influence area.
**Responsabilities**:
- Design and implement multi-channel communication strategies, adapted to different audiences, events and programmes, guaranteeing the presence of the ICIQ at national and international level.
- Coordinate internal and external communication actions, including announcements, dissemination campaigns and newsletters, to support the Institute's activities.
- Manage the development and maintenance of the Alumni website, intranet and page, ensuring that everything is aligned with the Institute's general communication strategy.
- Develop and execute a strategic content plan for social networks, maintaining an active, relevant and attractive presence. Create multimedia content (videos, images and other materials).
- Establish and maintain relationships with media and journalists: coordinate interviews, write press releases and manage media monitoring (clipping) to ensure positive and continuous coverage.
- Create and coordinate the production of institutional materials such as the annual activity report, corporate presentations, brochures, and other informative materials for external and internal communications.
- Provide support in the drafting of proposals to obtain financial support for strategic projects and communication activities.
- Participate in the organization and communication support of institutional and internal events, ensuring adequate coverage before, during and after each activity.
**Requirements**:
- Training in communication, marketing or related disciplines.
- Previous experience of at least 4-6 years in a corporate communication, strategic communication or public relations role.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to adapt the tone of communication according to the audience and channel. Proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English is required.
- Demonstrable experience in managing digital communication projects and knowledge of tools such as WordPress, MailChimp and other similar tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital analytics and graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be valued.

Busquem un/una tècnic/a de comunicació corporativa dinàmic/a i proactiu/va per cobrir temporalment una baixa de maternitat. La persona seleccionada s’integrarà a l’equip de Comunicació i Divulgació Científica i serà responsable de gestionar i coordinar les estratègies de comunicació externes i internes, garantint la coherència de la nostra marca i maximitzant la visibilitat institucional a través dels diversos canals de comunicació.
