Job Description We are looking for a Key Account Manager - Industrial Lamination for Spain & Portugal area. Key Responsibilities: Account Management & Sales: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in Spain and Portugal, focusing on growing revenue through direct sales of liquid 1C- and 2C Polyurethane adhesives and Hot Melt adhesives for industrial lamination applications. Market Development: Identify new business opportunities in the Sandwich Panel bonding market, as well as within Textiles & Consumables sectors, ensuring the company's products meet customer requirements and deliver value. Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice and technical support to customers in selecting and applying the most appropriate adhesive solutions for their specific needs. Collaboration with EMEA Team: Work closely with the regional team across EMEA to share insights, develop joint strategies, and leverage best practices. Customer Training & Support: Organize and deliver training sessions for customers on adhesive technologies and their applications to ensure optimal product usage and customer satisfaction. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and report on account progress, market trends, and customer feedback to ensure alignment with company objectives. Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building relationships with key stakeholders in the Sandwich Panel and Textiles & Consumables sectors. Willingness to travel within Spain and Portugal and occasionally across the EMEA region. Specific Tasks Protect current market share and generate profitable new business within Industrial Lamination segment nationally by ensuring high levels of service and support to key customers. Grow the Industrial lamination business within Spain and Portugal, ensuring that total cost optimisation (TCO) is adopted and understood as a measurement for optimum performance in customer processes. Share relevant planning and activity: managing, advising and directing team members' planning and reporting and assist with all aspects of communication including salesforce.com, customer complaints follow-up, and the writing of letters, specifications, quotations and trials etc. Maintain personal contact and effective relationships with major decision makers including specifiers, architects, contractors, end users, manufacturing companies, trade bodies, external test houses and key decision makers Combine pre-arranged visits, phone sales and cold calling to promote Sika and its products to the maximum number of decision makers and sales influencers. Provide technical advice and assist with problem solving utilising Sika products, with drawing or sketches as necessary.
