Our proprietary platform transforms unstructured oncology clinical data into standardized, research-grade datasets supporting hospitals, research institutions, and pharmaceutical partners across Europe.
As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager – Europe, with primary responsibility for Spain and additional development across the UK and Poland.
This is a strategic, institution-facing role focused on long-term partnerships within complex healthcare systems.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive institutional growth by establishing and expanding partnerships with:
- Oncology hospitals and comprehensive cancer centers
- Research organizations and clinical networks
- National and regional oncology associations
The role requires executive presence, strong healthcare ecosystem understanding, and the ability to navigate regulatory and public healthcare environments across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead market development in Spain and support expansion in the other market, like UK.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop high-value institutional opportunities.
- Engage Medical Directors, Research Leads, IT, Legal, and DPO stakeholders.
- Build and manage a strong, qualified institutional pipeline.
- Structure and negotiate subscription and strategic data partnership agreements.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
- Represent Sqilline at oncology congresses and institutional forums.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare business development.
- Proven experience working with hospitals or public healthcare systems.
- Oncology ecosystem knowledge strongly preferred.
- Experience in digital health, AI, analytics, or data platforms is an advantage.
- Native or fluent Spanish (required).
- Professional English (required).
- Experience operating across multiple European markets is a strong plus.
- Strong institutional negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
