About the role
You will work closely with executive leadership, audio experience, business development, creator marketing, and product teams to define and execute strategies aligned with our vision: to enable everyone to CREATE, OWN, and use unique Sonic identities. This role is Director of Product for the Voicemod App Ecosystem.
This position offers high visibility with senior management.
Your responsibilities include:
* Analyzing user insights, feedback, usage metrics, and behaviors to inform content and tech strategies.
* Conducting market research to identify emerging audio content trends and acquiring content across markets and languages.
* Developing content strategies and roadmaps around various content pillars, leveraging UGC, Creator Economy, internal production, and IP licensing.
* Building financial models and forecasts to prioritize initiatives and inform business decisions.
* Driving content strategy execution, gap analysis, and overseeing content operations for international collections.
* Ensuring sustainable growth of high-quality audio content to drive revenue and fill content gaps.
* Managing content operations, including marketplace curation and campaigns.
* Defining IP licensing and brand partnership strategies, collaborating with business development and licensing teams.
* Advocating for audio experiences within product and partner teams.
* Managing stakeholder relationships involved in IP content strategies.
* Participating in asset creation, including character definition, storytelling, and visual art.
* Providing input on content discovery and presentation in apps.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred but not required
* 5+ years in content strategy, production, or product roles
* Experience in content strategy, production, gaming, product management, or business development
* Experience with user-generated content and creator programs
* Familiarity with licensing and distribution deals for IP content
* Deep knowledge of the creator economy, social audio, social media, gaming, metaverse, or audio ecosystems
* Passion for audio, music, entertainment, and technology
* Exceptional analytical skills for business modeling and data analysis
